Cell Phone Inquiry (AKA Mobile phone over here…)
Anybody back home upgrading their iPhone4s to the new iPhone5 and wanna send it to me!? 
Maybe it’s asking too much, but I’m guessing that a lot of people are upgrading and perhaps someone would be generous enough to donate their old one to me….
My phone is in such bad shape I can’t hardly have a conversation on it anymore. And I sure can’t afford to buy a smart phone! Heck, it’s not easy to buy the cheapest one on the market. But boy oh boy would it ever be nice to have the luxury of being on par with all of the other students at the university that have the advantage of being able to use their phones during class and even tests sometimes for translation helps and dictionaries! And other communications with each other and teachers and etc….. The other day, the teacher was wanting to move faster than we could write down the information on the screen, and she says, just take a picture with your phone! That would be nice if I had a phone with a camera! Meanwhile all the other students whip out their iPhones and snap away :/ I never did get the information from that day.
Just thought I’d ask… Never know unless you ask 
If it makes you feel better, I have a “dumb” phone…I do hope you get a used one, though. Iphone4 with no contracts attached sounds like a very good deal!
I don’t mind having a dumb phone so much… the cameras are usually not that good on phones anyway, so it doesn’t bother me not having a camera in my phone except when the teacher’s expect you to have one with you all the time!
But, yes, a smart phone would be very nice to have. And I just realized, as you mentioned, that maybe I shouldn’t have specified iPhone4s in my post… heck, pretty much any smart phone would do the job I imagine… it doesn’t need to be the next to the latest and greatest… I think I’ll update this post to clarify… it would be a bummer if someone had an iphone4 but just chucked it because I made it sound like that wouldn’t be good enough for me… yikes! it would be awesome!
